Schinner Forest

Akiko Yano’s performance brings this song to life in such a different way. It is so personal, like her thoughts whispering to herself. It’s such a sad song, with so many difficult to describe emotions around love and loss and the strange things we feel in them. It’s less theatrical than Onuki’s version (which I also love), and more a poem written in a notebook or hard to control feelings rushing in the mind as she finds herself in this situation. So beautiful, thank you for the upload.
